She was born in Vilagarcía de Arousa, Spain, in 1985. She received the B.Sc., the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Vigo, Spain, in 2007, 2010 and 2015, respectively, all of them with honors.
From November 2009 to February 2016, she worked in the Applied Power Electronics Technology Research Group (APET) of the University of Vigo, being funded by the Spanish Government (FPU grant holder). From March 2013 to June 2013, she joined the Electrical Power Research Group of the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom for a research stay. She is now a System Requirement Analyst Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. Her research interests include digital control of power electronics converters, with special focus on grid-connected applications, such as those based on renewable energy.
She has authored more than 30 published technical papers in the field of power electronics. Twenty one of them are published in JCR-indexed journals. She is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and the IEEE Power Electronics Society.
